Jamie R. Weaver 

Jamie Weaver - educator, motivator, humorist, and speaker, is the founder and director of Front and Center, and presents numerous of clinics, workshops, seminars, and speeches around the country to thousands of students and teachers each year.

Jamie has been a featured speaker in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Delaware, Colorado, Alabama, Illinois, Florida, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Nevada, and throughout Texas and has appeared before more than 20,000 people this year alone.

Jamie was the keynote speaker for the Texas State Teacher’s Association Future Teachers of America State Convention in Austin in 2000, appeared at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado in 2000 and 2001, and was part of Bands of America’s "Leadership Dream Team” in 2001.

Jamie holds his Music Education degree from the University of Kentucky and has appeared with the nationally acclaimed
George N. Parks Drum Major Academy, Bands of America Summer Symposium, and Vivace Productions’ Band Leadership Training programs with Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser since 1991.

He is currently the director of band at Creek Valley Middle School in the Lewisville Independent School District (TX) where he has been since the school opened in 2001 and enjoys consistently having one of the largest middle school band programs in the north Texas area with over 320 members and is busy writing his book Lessons from the Stupid Kid in the Back of the Class - a collection of stories and anecdotes to help guide kids today through the everyday challenges they face.
